Discover Laura Lukasavage's Story

Welcome to my site! I'm Laura Lukasavage, an indie author and creator. Here, you'll find a collection of my books and where to find them. I also offer services for fellow indie authors, including assistance in creating captivating book covers and mock-ups. I am passionate about supporting aspiring authors and providing them with the tools they need to succeed. My goal is to help you bring your creative visions to life. Feel free to explore my work and the resources I offer to fellow indie authors.

My love and passion for writing began when I was only fourteen. My mother used to write poems to my step father and leave notes in his lunch box a couple times a week and after she passed away, when I was fourteen, is when I turned to reading and writing poems, hoping to feel closer to her.

Before she passed away, I didn't care for reading or writing but in high school I needed something to get lost in, something to fill my mind, other than the grief of my loss. That is when I picked up the Twilight and Harry Potter series and feel in love instantly. From there my love or reading grew into an obsession. My friends would always tease me saying my room was a library as the walls were covered with ceiling high shelves filled with books and movies.

In high school I decided to take creative writing classes, wanting to find something to connect me to my mother. I started with poems, but I couldn't stop there. Soon I was taking every possible writing class they offered. It was in one of those classes on my senior year that my idea for Moonlight Secrets started.

I would play around with the book for the next nine years until when I learned I was pregnant, at twenty-eight, with my daughter. It was then that I decided to move forward with the story and give it everything I had. I wanted to show my daughter that if you believe and love something that you can have it.

I plan on continuing this journey for as long as possible, in hopes to one day have my books be for someone else what others were for me in my darkest moments.

I am not like other authors as I don't stick to one topic for my writing, and I plan on continuing to branch out. I started with my Fantasy shifter series then moved into more of women's fiction with See You On The Other Side and Enough is Enough, which both touch on the darker parts of what life can offer. I take those dark and trying subjects and try to give them a better path, to show others there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Next was my dream walker book, which will be a series. I will also be adding a ghost murder mystery, love story and another series to the mix over the next few years.

I have more ideas in my head then I know what to do with, so plan on seeing a lot coming from in the next ten years. Hope to see you along for the ride.
